Potential students submit an information request below, then schedule a phone call with an admissions representative.  After the phone call, the potential student will be invited to tour the campus and studios, then complete an application that includes a refundable $50 fee.  Potential students then submit a series of required documents and schedule an interview with a faculty member.  After the interview is complete and documents have been submitted, an Enrollment Agreement is signed and the potential student officially becomes an enrolled student.

Yes.  The Music & Industry Fundamentals program is offered Live Online.  We also offer self-paced, On Demand videos that are perfect for beginners.  DJ Fundamentals and our Vocal program are not offered online.

Graduates who are academically qualified and financially current receive a certificate that reflects the name of the program(s) they completed. 

In order to provide students with flexible options for financing, 1500 Sound Academy provides zero-interest monthly subscription options.  All programs and/or individual courses can now be paid in subscription form.  When students enroll in a monthly subscription, their tuition is divided evenly across the number of months they select. There are options ranging from two to 24 months (two years).  Students are able to select how many months of payments they will make, between two and 24, at their own discretion.  Monthly payments are automatically debited via Shopify, then automatically terminated after a student completes their tuition payments.  Visit our financing page for a breakdown of program and course cost per month of subscription.

Our Vocal program helps aspiring singers with their technique and fundamentals, performance abilities, recording processes and business operations.  This performance-based program is well-suited for people who desire to hone their vocal performance craft, learn to record vocals, mix vocals and stand out amongst the crowd. 

DJ Fundamentals kick-starts an aspiring DJ’s career faster than any other program in Los Angeles.  Students of this program are ready for paid gigs after only three months of learning and practice.  Beginner, aspiring or intermediate DJs are a great fit for this program.  All elements of DJing are covered, such as controllers, CDJs & mixers, DJ Performance, going live on Twitch, music business and DJ Branding.

Artists, producers and songwriters all find success in the Music & Industry Fundamentals program.  These courses lead students through the entire production, editing, engineering, mixing, business and branding timelines so they are prepared for success after graduation.  Additionally, this program helps creatives learn to engineer and can serve as a launching point for artist management, record label or publishing company internships.
